Drawstring Shorts

As it was explained in the example with the shorts, two layered belt, holes, drawstring, and a safety pin are necessary to create a tightening effect. The safety pin is vital in this operation, because without it the dragging of the string to the exiting hole would have been very difficult and time consuming. To get the drawstring around the shorts’ belt, the safety pin is attached at one end of the string and then inserted in any of two holes. As soon as the pin with the drawstring is placed inside the belt, one must hold the belt, where the safety pin locates, and push the pin forward firmly in the opposite direction of the entering hole. The safety pin should be big enough to be drawn inside the belt and small enough to do so with much ease.
As soon as the drawstring is dragged to the other side of the belt through the exiting hole, the safety pin can be unattached and the drawstring secured on each of its ends with the knot or aglet, a metal or plastic sheath. The holes can be sewn at their edges by hand or sewing machine to eliminate edge fraying. If one would like to be able to hold the drawstring in place at the holes, he can purchase an adjustable aglet for that purpose.
For those who are not interested in constructing from scratch a pair of fine summer shorts with the drawstring, such shorts can be bought at the drawstring shorts sale during the Thanksgiving holiday online Kohls Promo Code.
